The company is seeking management teams with deep domain knowledge of an industry where leadership's expertise can be augmented with capital and technology to cause better customer outcomes. "If you can take technology -- data, machine learning, artificial intelligence -- and integrate into a business normally not known for innovation, you can have a material impact on the business."
