Using data wisely and effectively will be the key to delivering great customer experiences across AT&T's communication, entertainment and connectivity solutions, said AT&T Chairman and CEO Randall Stephenson. The massive changes in the communications and media industries are affecting AT&T as much as any company on the planet, and Stephenson claims that managing big transitions is a core competency and competitive advantage of the firm given the extent of the changes they have experienced over the last several decades. "You have to have the courage to pull the trigger to make big changes," said Stephenson. During his visit to The Industrialist's Dilemma class on January 24, 2019, Stephenson discussed with Lecturer Robert Siegel how the company is managing these complexities and is working to integrate the newly renamed WarnerMedia into the larger AT&T organization while still maintaining the best attributes of the media organization's creative culture.
