Vijay Sethupathi Participated in Tamil Thalaivas team Kabaddi | sicp Thalaivas team and jersey unveiled CHENNAI: The Tamil Thalaivas team and jersey for the sixth season of the ProKabaddi League (PKL) were unveiled here on Thursday. The team’s Indian players were present on the occasion. Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi was announced as the team’s Chief Motivating Officer while Star Sports announced the actor as “the face of ProKabaddi in Tamil Nadu”. On his association with the team, Sethupathi said: “I’m very happy to be a part of the ProKabaddi family. Kabaddi has a rich history in Tamil Nadu and I’m glad that our own sport has now reached such astounding heights. It gives me immense happiness to be a part of a sport deeply entrenched in all of us. I will be at the stadium for the opening leg, cheering for the Thalaivas.” Unveiling the team jersey, Thalaivas CEO Viren D’Silva said: “We are excited and happy to host the season opener here (Chennai) in the home of kabaddi. For us, the fans have always been important, and this season’s jersey embodies the spirit of our fans and their affinity to the sport. The blue in the jersey is a mark of our pride representing the state, and the gold is a mark of the rich traditional legacy of Tamil Nadu.
